Why are you like this?
Why are you like this?
This month I realised I haven't done any 'writing' that felt meaningful in a long time. There's nothing wrong with that, as such. I write all the time. I write in my journal and I write to my friends and I don't necessarily feel like I'm missing out or depriving myself of some needed outlet.
But on the other hand, I figured maybe I should try making a game where the only thing I could do, is write. So I did!
It's called 'Why are you like this?' and basically it's about how our brains can sabotage us and lead us to feel new fresh upsets when nothing has changed, least of all us. If that even makes sense. It's pretty raw, and short, and maybe bad, but it felt rather good to make.
I think I'll do some more Twine stuff in future. It's a lot of fun once you get going, and they go to impressive lengths to make it as straightforward as possible. Check out the tools at http://twinery.org/ and see for yourself!
